On the instructions of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mr. Ali Amin Gandapur,  WSSC Kohat in collaboration with District Administration have launched a special three-week cleanliness campaign ahead of Ramadan. The aim of this campaign is to make the city clean and healthy so that residents can observe their religious practices in a clean environment during the holy month.

The campaign was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Kohat Mr. Abdul Akram and Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Mohammad Saad. During the inauguration, Deputy Commissioner Mr. Abdul Akram and Chairman Mr. Mohammad Saad requested the citizens not to throw garbage on the streets, in drains, or on vacant plots, as doing so not only makes the environment dirty but also causes blockages in the drainage system, leading to sewage and water drainage issues. Citizens were also reminded that cleanliness is a collective responsibility, and if everyone takes care of it, the environment will remain clean and health problems will be reduced.

On this occasion, WSSC Kohat’s Deputy General Manager Mr. Tahir Afif and Acting Manager of Operations Mr. Imad Bangash were also present. They appealed to the citizens to support the district administration and WSSC Kohat in this cleanliness campaign so that the city can be made clean and healthy.
